Hi, My name is Zach. Dining Room PC is my indie game studio located in San Francisco and is currently building Stampholder Value, a cozy deck building rogue like for PC. The game is in the prototype stage and I’m looking for a Junior 2D Game Artist to help finish the vertical slice.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality concept art, character designs, environments, props, and UI elements.
• Collaborate with game designers for a consistent visual style.
• Develop illustrations that align with gameplay, story, and game identity.
• Contribute to references, color palettes, and visual development materials.
• Revise artwork based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of assets.

Requirements:

• Experience as an illustrator or concept artist (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in digital painting/mockup/3D tools (e.g. Photoshop, Affinity, Figma, Blender etc).
• Ability to adapt to different art styles as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with 3D tools or game engines (We use godot).
• Experience playing indie games.
• Bachelor of Fine Arts

Compensation:

• $25/hr, 20hr/week
