About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and experienced key art specialist that is familiar with the YouTube space. As a thumbnail designer you will be responsible for developing concepts, compositing and designing out those concepts. A strong understanding of photoshop and photo manipulation will help you to succeed in this position. This role is responsible for making thumbnails for our various Beast channels. Most importantly, we need someone who is a team player and always striving to improve. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Concept new and original ideas
• Generate realistic/ eye catching thumbnails using photoshop and photo manipulation skills
• Stay up to date with current trends/ best practices within the thumbnail space
• Coordinate with the thumbnail production team to make sure we are capturing all assets necessary for the creation of our thumbnails
• Collaborating with other team members to generate the best designs possible. This includes idea generation, sharing assets, and providing helpful feedback
• Other tasks as assigned

What makes you a fit: 

• 3+ years of Photoshop experience
• Advanced in photo manipulation
• Great understanding of Visual design principles and elements
• Working knowledge of graphic/visual trends in thumbnail design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to deadlines and schedules
• Familiar with Google Drive & Discord
• Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization
• Passionate about YouTube
• 3D experience & is a bonus but not required
• Ability to create hand drawn or 3D concepts is a bonus but not required
