Role Description

The VP of Data will lead the data strategy, infrastructure, and analytics efforts across CytoCync as a contract professional. This remote role involves developing data-driven solutions, managing cross-functional projects, and aligning data initiatives with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT management, setting a strategic direction for database architecture and systems, and managing resources to execute on high-priority initiatives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Information Technology, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and modern technical solutions
• Experience in IT Management and IT Strategy, including handling complex systems and ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Proven proficiency in Project Management, especially in delivering on-time, cost-effective, and compliance-aware data initiatives
• Strong capabilities in Strategic Planning, fostering scalable processes, and aligning data operations with long-term company goals
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills to engage with stakeholders across technical and business functions
• Familiarity with data compliance regulations, including HIPAA, and demonstrated ability to develop solutions in regulated environments
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in biotech, healthtech, or other regulated industries is a strong advantage
