We are seeking a visionary News Editor to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our content strategy, ensuring that Tribune Wired continues to be a leader in the digital media space.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all content production and create a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our goals and audience needs.
• Conduct deep research into content performance, trends, and audience preference to refine our content approach continually.
• Research trending content/topics or niche ideas and keywords in various categories.
• Lead and collaborate with our content team, inspiring creativity and excellence in content creation, and offering constructive feedback and guidance.
• Ensure that all content meets our high editorial standards and is optimized for SEO, enhancing our digital presence and reach.
• Edit, proofread, and improve content before publication.
• Maintain deadlines for the content team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a content strategist, content manager, team lead, or a similar role in a global digital media environment.
• In-depth understanding of content trends, digital platforms, and SEO strategies.
• Good analytical skills to interpret content performance and creativity to drive engaging content initiatives.
• Excellent editorial, research skills, and SEO skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.
