Advertised Job Summary
The Children’s Law Center is seeking an energetic and innovative Statistical and Research Analyst to join our multi-disciplinary team. The Statistical and Research Analyst will play a key role in implementing the Center’s grant-funded projects and initiatives to meet relevant objectives and requirements. Responsibilities include conducting research, managing and analyzing data, presenting findings, engaging with stakeholders, and developing and disseminating resources. This role requires collaboration with community stakeholders and Center staff. In addition, the Statistical and Research Analyst will support the work of the Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children. The Committee identifies and studies key issues facing South Carolina children and develops and promotes children’s policy to address those issues. Research and staff support of the Committee is provided by the Children’s Law Center, and this role will work closely with Committee staff and partner agencies to inform policy discussions and initiatives. The Statistical and Research Analyst will also contribute to the Center’s broader portfolio by assisting with identifying and applying for funding opportunities and providing research, data, and coordination support across projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Master’s degree in social science fields and at least one year related experience, or a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience.
