We’re looking for a sharp, plugged-in Social Media & Marketing Manager to work directly alongside our founder and lead our brand presence across every major platform.
This is a high-touch, high-ownership role. You won’t be scheduling content in isolation — you’ll be in the room where brand decisions get made, helping shape what Hypland looks like online and steering the strategy that drives real growth around every drop, collab, and cultural moment.
This role begins as a contract engagement with the clear intent to convert to full-time. The right person will grow into a permanent, core member of the team.

Role Description
Work directly with the founder on content strategy, brand voice, and campaign planning around product releases, collabs, and cultural moments
— Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement across all platforms — ensuring Hypland’s presence is active, authentic, and consistent
— Coordinate freelance creatives (photographers, videographers, editors, designers) to ensure a steady pipeline of content that meets deadlines and brand standards
— Build and maintain a content calendar that aligns with release schedules, licensing launches, and key cultural events
— Develop and execute a full influencer seeding strategy — identifying the right creators, managing product sends, and building genuine relationships that translate into authentic reach
— Own Hypland’s TikTok Shop presence end-to-end: product listings, affiliate creator coordination, shop content, and driving conversion through the platform
— Develop platform-specific strategies — short-form video for TikTok and Reels, hype-building on Twitter/X, community management on Discord and Reddit, thought leadership on LinkedIn
— Analyze performance across platforms, report key metrics, and iterate strategy based on what’s actually working
— Monitor cultural trends, competitor brands, and streetwear/pop culture conversations to keep Hypland ahead of the moment — not behind it
— Maintain and evolve the brand’s overall online persona — tone, aesthetic, and identity — in collaboration with the founder
What we’re looking for:
— 2–4+ years of social media or digital marketing experience, ideally in streetwear, fashion, entertainment, or a culture-adjacent brand
— Deep native fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Discord, and Reddit — you’re active in these spaces, not just managing them
— Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop and/or influencer seeding campaigns — you know how to move product and build creator relationships that actually perform
— Strong organizational instincts: you can juggle multiple platforms, freelancers, and timelines without dropping the ball
— Ability to write with a distinct brand voice — sharp, confident, culturally aware, never corporate
— Experience coordinating creative teams or external freelancers
— Working knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar)
— Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment where the work is collaborative and the pace is real
— Passion for streetwear, anime, brand collabs, or pop culture is a genuine plus — you should care about what we make
