Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Director of Athlete Ecosystem Partnerships. The Director will be responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships within the athlete ecosystem, identifying and fostering relationships with stakeholders such as athletes, brands, coaches, agents, and advisors. Responsibilities include developing partnership strategies, negotiating agreements, analyzing trends within the sports industry, and driving collaboration between entities on the LockedIn HQ platform. The Director will ensure stakeholders have meaningful engagement to grow their impact within the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong existing relationships in:
• AAU / youth sports ecosystems
• club sports organizations
• athlete development programs
• Proven ability to:
• open doors
• build trust quickly
• convert relationships into real outcomes
• Experience or exposure to:
• fundraising
• investor networks
• sports business ecosystem (preferred but not required)
• Highly proactive, self-directed, and execution-focused
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage startup environment

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

• This role will focus on onboarding partner organizations and driving significant user acquisition through those channels.
