Position Summary Stern College for Women is seeking adjunct instructors for a variety of academic departments in our midtown Manhattan location. Courses are offered in fall and spring semesters.
Position Responsibilities
Teach up to two undergraduate courses in-person up to twice a week, in one or more of the following areas:
- Art History and Studio Arts
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Economics
- English
- History
- Jewish Studies
- Mathematics
- Philosophy
- Physics
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Speech Pathology & Audiology
- Statistics
Other Position Responsibilities
- Administration of all exams
- Grade all exams and assignments by university deadlines
- Meet and mentor students
Experience & Educational Background
- Graduate-level degree in a related field
- Experience teaching undergraduate students preferred
Skills & Competencies
Experience teaching undergraduate students
