As a Vector Graphic Illustration Specialist, you’d help us create training data for a project with one of the world’s top AI labs.

Your role:

As a Vector Graphic Illustration Specialist, you will apply your professional experience in vector illustration and graphic design to help design, execute, and evaluate realistic illustration workflows. The core objective of this role is to translate real, day-to-day illustration reasoning into structured tasks and evaluations, enabling AI systems to learn how experienced illustrators and graphic designers produce precise, style-consistent vector artwork.

Compensation:

• Compensation: $35-45/hour
• Commitment: 15-40 hours per week
• Type: Contract, part-time
• Location: Fully remote

What you’ll do:

• Execute tasks within Inkscape to validate feasibility and establish ground-truth solutions
• Write detailed task specifications for vector illustration workflows, including clear prompts, expected outputs, and grading criteria
• Create logos, icon sets, infographics, typographic compositions, and scalable brand assets
• Define grading rubrics that assess both technical execution (e.g., clean path construction, pixel alignment, optimized SVG export) and design judgment (e.g., stylistic consistency, visual weight, cohesion across a set)
• Provide clear, written documentation of your workflows, reasoning, and quality assessments

What we’re looking for:

We are specifically seeking experienced vector illustrators and graphic designers with strong technical precision and hands-on production experience.

Relevant Backgrounds:

• Proficiency and fluency with Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, or similar vector tools
• Illustrators, graphic designers, or icon designers working in-house, at agencies, or freelance
• Designers with a portfolio of logos, icon systems, or brand identity work
• Hands-on experience with Bézier curves, boolean operations, path editing, and SVG export
• Familiarity with pixel-grid alignment and style-system consistency across a deliverable set
