Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of five years of corporate aviation experience, with seven or more years preferred. Training from FlightSafety, FACTS, or a similar provider is strongly favored, and candidates without it must be willing to complete formal training prior to assignment. CPR, AED, and first aid certification are required, along with knowledge of FAA regulations and emergency protocols. You must be tech-savvy, adaptable to last-minute changes, and available for standby calls with a response time of 2–3 hours. A flexible attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to travel worldwide and remain on rotation for up to 16 consecutive days.
Culinary ability is critical in this role—you should be comfortable preparing and serving gourmet meals and managing all galley equipment. Familiarity with Cabin Management Systems, entertainment features, and in-flight service protocols is expected. You must be physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, maneuvering in confined spaces, and handling cabin doors. Strong communication skills, clear vision and hearing, and the ability to multitask under pressure are also necessary.
