About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) team in Gonzales, LA. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our engineering data entry requirements for various project documentation, including Project Instrument Indexes, Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s), Loop Drawings, and Electrical Wiring diagrams. Qualifications

• Proven experience with Excel, including advanced functions and data management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Previous experience in oil and gas engineering, design, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with Smart Plant Instrumentation software or similar plant design tools is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to learn new software and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or degrees are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and maintenance of Project Instrument Indexes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in developing and updating P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, and Electrical Wiring diagrams in accordance with project specifications.
• Input and verify data within Smart Plant Instrumentation software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure data integrity and consistency across documentation.
• Review drawings and data for errors or discrepancies, making necessary corrections promptly.
• Maintain organized records of all project documentation and data entries for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated on project requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline data management processes.
