You’ve seen a number of our roles come and go over the last 6 months. We are moving from a stage of flux, to a state of consistency, and we are looking to build our team to weather the coming educational trials ahead. 

Role Description

This is a contract-based hybrid role for an All Subjects Teacher, located in Snellville, GA, with some opportunities to work from home. Pay will start at $25 an hour, and have chances to go higher based on experience. This role will transition from contract-based to full-time. The Teacher will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, utilizing effective teaching strategies to support student learning in mathematics and reading. Responsibilities also include assisting students across 1st-12th grade levels in developing educational competence and confidence. You must have some experience teaching and working with multiple subjects, as our students come to us requiring help in multiple areas of education. There will be paid trainings/teacher support as you grow in this position. This role is perfect for a younger teacher who is willing to grow in their academic experience, or for retired teachers who want to still teach in a less constricted environment focusing on what really matters: the children.

Qualifications 

Proficiency in Mathematics and Reading across 1st-12th grades, familiarity with Science and Social Studies as well

You do not need specific certifications in a curriculum, just a demonstrated proficiency in teaching the subject

Experience with Tutoring and Online Tutoring, and ability to demonstrate experience

Strong Communication skills and the ability to connect with students

Patience, adaptability, and a student-focused approach. Most of our students operate below grade level

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field preferred but not required

Previous experience in educational coaching or working with diverse learning styles is beneficial
