Role Description This is a part-time, remote Healthcare Analyst role responsible for turning healthcare data into meaningful insights and recommendations. On a day-to-day basis, the Healthcare Analyst will collect, clean, and validate healthcare data from multiple sources, and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. The role will involve conducting targeted research on healthcare policies, clinical practices, and industry benchmarks, and summarizing findings in clear, concise reports and presentations. The Healthcare Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their questions, define metrics, and support decision-making with data-driven evidence. The position also includes preparing dashboards or visualizations, documenting methodologies, and contributing to continuous improvement of analytical processes and tools. Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and data analysis abilities, including interpreting datasets, identifying trends, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
Healthcare knowledge, such as familiarity with healthcare delivery, terminology, regulations, or claims and clinical data.
Research capabilities, including literature reviews, competitive or market research, and synthesizing complex information into concise insights.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly in written reports, presentations, and discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with spreadsheets and basic analytical tools; exposure to SQL, BI tools, or statistical software is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Public Health, Health Informatics, Statistics, Data Science, or a similar discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a healthcare, consulting, or analytics-focused role is a plus, as is an interest in continuous learning and professional development.
