Property Maintenance Technician Full Time NEW

The Barre Housing Authority has a full time position available for a Maintenance Mechanic. This person will report directly to the Director of Maintenance and be expected to perform skilled, routine maintenance duties, and work orders at all BHA properties including building exteriors, common areas, apartments, building systems, fixtures and grounds. A general knowledge of drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing, and electrical repairs are required for this position. Position may require some evenings and weekends as needed – and will be part of a page rotation (one week on / six weeks off). The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the needs of all people, dependable under supervised and non-supervised conditions, and maintain a professional attitude and demeanor. Must have reliable and insured transportation to use. Position includes a generous benefit package and competitive salary.
