Duties

• Assist customers in locating and selecting the right trailer parts and accessories, providing expert advice on trailer repair and maintenance needs
• Help manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) software
• Process sales transactions accurately through cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries
• Collaborate with technicians to fulfill parts orders efficiently, ensuring timely order fulfillment and delivery within the dealership or repair shop
• Maintain a clean, organized parts department by stocking shelves, conducting regular inventory audits, and ensuring proper storage of trailer supplies
• Support marketing efforts by promoting available parts specials or promotions to customers and team members
• Utilize communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, service advisors, and customers in a multilingual environment if applicable

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dealership or retail sales environments is preferred, especially with parts or accessories
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and order fulfillment
• Proficiency with inventory management software such as CMMS or familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customer bases
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and invoice processing
• Experience with dealership operations or retail sales is beneficial but not required
