Role Description The Director Global Technology at Hyltén Invest will lead the design, execution, and optimization of the company’s global technology strategy in alignment with business objectives. This full-time, remote role oversees cross-functional technology initiatives, partners with senior leadership to prioritize investments, and ensures that technology roadmaps support sustainable growth and innovation. The director will guide research and development efforts, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive transformation projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer value. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing global technology projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, setting standards for architecture and security, and monitoring key performance indicators to measure impact. The role also involves mentoring distributed teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Proven project management capabilities, including planning, prioritizing, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives on time and within budget.
• Expertise in strategic planning and IT strategy, with experience translating long-term business goals into clear technology roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in research and development (R&D), including assessing emerging technologies, leading pilots, and bringing innovative solutions to production.
• Extensive background in leading global, remote, and multicultural technology teams, with inclusive leadership and effective communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity best practices, and integration of third-party systems.
• Ability to collaborate with executive leadership, communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences, and influence strategic decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
• Experience in investment, financial services, or related industries is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong self-organization, time management, and digital collaboration skills.
