Position Overview
Centers for New Horizons is seeking Part-Time Youth Mentors to support a Department of Family and Support Services-funded, community-based mentoring program serving youth ages 10–21 in Altgeld Gardens (Far South Side) and Bronzeville (Near South Side).
This program is part of a citywide upstream prevention model focused on building strong, consistent relationships between youth and caring adults. Through individualized mentoring, youth gain access to social capital, skill-building opportunities, and support for making healthy, informed life choices.
This is a part-time role (up to 20 hours/week) with a minimum 6-month commitment strongly encouraged to ensure continuity of relationships. Hours will be 2-6 PM, Monday through Friday.
