The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Senior Brand Development Manager to lead our growth in California—one of the most important and competitive tequila markets in the world.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in the field, understands the beverage alcohol landscape, and is passionate about building brands through strong distributor partnerships and market execution.
What You’ll Do
- Own and execute the California market strategy to drive distribution and depletions
- Build and manage relationships with key distributor partners (e.g., Southern Glazer’s, RNDC)
- Develop and expand key on-premise and off-premise accounts
- Lead brand activations, tastings, and events across the market
- Educate trade partners and consumers on the El Tequileño portfolio and story
- Collaborate with marketing to execute local campaigns and initiatives
- Identify growth opportunities and monitor competitive activity
- Represent the brand at industry events and key accounts
- Provide regular market feedback and performance reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in beverage alcohol (spirits preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the California market and account landscape
- Established relationships with distributors and key accounts
- Experience working with major distributors (Southern Glazer’s, RNDC, etc.)
- Proven ability to drive sales and build brand presence
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within California
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $95,000 – $130,000 USD + performance bonus
