Senior Vice President of Technology Full Time NEW

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Senior Vice President of Technology at Cardano Inc. The SVP of Technology will define and execute the long-term technology vision, aligning platform and infrastructure strategy with business goals in the onchain and financial technology domains. This role will oversee distributed engineering and infrastructure teams, set technical standards, prioritize roadmaps, and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable systems. The SVP will collaborate closely with executive leadership, product, security, and operations to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver enterprise-grade solutions for global financial clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding architectural decisions, reviewing key technical designs, mentoring senior technical leaders, managing large-scale programs, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Strong Information Technology and IT Strategy experience, including leading modern cloud, infrastructure, and platform initiatives at scale.
• Demonstrated Strategic Planning capabilities, with a track record of translating business goals into actionable technology roadmaps.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate complex systems, performance metrics, and risk trade-offs in mission-critical environments.
• Proven Project Management experience overseeing large, multi-team technology programs from concept to delivery.
• Extensive leadership experience in senior technology roles (e.g., VP, SVP, CTO) within fintech, blockchain, or other high-scale, regulated industries.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, API platforms, security, reliability, and observability for enterprise-grade infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or equivalent executive-level experience is a plus.
• Experience building and leading diverse, geographically distributed teams and creating an equitable, inclusive work environment.
