Job Description
We are looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead planning, implementation, and delivery of ERP and government operations projects while ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs. This position will be a full-time, 6-month contract and hybrid role requiring candidates to be onsite 3 to 4 days per week in Annapolis, Maryland.
What You’ll Do
Serve as primary point of contact for the client ensuring vendor deliverables align with strategic goals and operational needs
Analyze and document business processes and public service workflows and translate them into project requirements
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation
Create cost estimates perform cost benefit analysis and track project financials
Manage vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met
Facilitate communication across stakeholders including business users IT teams and vendors
Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure timely resolution of issues
Track and manage project issues and maintain accountability for resolution
Develop and implement change management strategies to support user adoption
Provide regular project status reporting and maintain documentation
Collaborate with end users to assess needs and improve workflows
What You’ll Need
Required:
Bachelors degree in project management information technology public administration or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex IT projects
Experience implementing ERP systems
Strong experience analyzing business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions test cases and training materials
Knowledge of project management methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience managing vendors and holding them accountable to contracts
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work onsite 3 to 4 days per week
Preferred:
Experience working in the public sector
Experience with ADP or ERP system implementations
Experience with change management system testing and end user training
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor

$68 – $78 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
