Role Description The English Generalist role at ArborVitae is a temporary, remote position focused on a variety of English language tasks to support product, marketing, and internal teams. The English Generalist may also review copy for clarity and correctness, assist with basic content structuring or organization, and provide language support for documentation or knowledge base articles. Strong command of written English, with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and in a variety of tones and formats.
Experience reviewing and refining text for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall readability.
Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into accessible, user-friendly language.
Comfort working with guidelines, style references, or templates to maintain consistency.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple assignments in a temporary, remote setting.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with distributed teams.
