sportsYou is a high school athletics communication platform serving coaches, parents, and athletes. We’re looking for someone who loves making teams move faster — and knows that sustainable pace beats burnout every time.
The Role You’ll coordinate across three pods (Client App, DevOps/Server, and Design) — running agile ceremonies, keeping the backlog clean, and triaging production issues to the right team. You’ll protect the team’s focus, keep work flowing, and occasionally interface with marketing on launches and timelines. This is a practical operations role, not a senior agile coach position.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate standups, sprint planning, and retros across pods
- Maintain an organized backlog in Shortcut with clearly written, prioritized tickets alongside Product and Engineering leads
- Triage production issues surfacing through Intercom and Crashlytics; route and escalate to the right pod
- Track blockers and cross-pod dependencies through resolution
- Coordinate with marketing on release timing and feature communication
- Keep leadership informed with concise status updates
What We’re Looking For
- Experience coordinating or project-managing within a software team
- Someone energized by team velocity — but who protects focus and guards against overcommitment
- Technical enough to read a bug report and follow engineering conversations
- Highly organized, proactive, and a clear communicator
- Familiarity with Shortcut (or similar), Intercom, and Crashlytics a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile app teams
- Familiarity with agile/scrum, CI/CD, or cloud infrastructure concepts
