Position/Salary and Benefits: Clerk of the District Court II, grade 35, $59,099.913

Job Duties: Work involves the overall management of the civil, criminal, limited actions, probate, and juvenile functions of the Riley County District Court. It involves coordination of the various activities and subordinate personnel to ensure that case processing systems and procedures are efficient, effective, and compatible throughout the court.
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or equivalency, and three years of clerical experience, including at least one year of court clerical or other legal experience. Course work at an accredited two- or four-year college or university may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required experience, except that at least one year of court clerical or comparable experience is required in addition to any college work substituted.
Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge and experience with legal terminology and the ability to perform personnel management functions in a high paced work environment.
