Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Demolition Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team while we work to complete a demoliton project in the Goldsboro, NC area. This vital role involves operating heavy demolition machinery to safely and efficiently dismantle structures, ensuring projects are completed on time and within safety standards.
Duties
- Operate heavy demolition equipment such as excavators, to safely demolish structures according to project specifications.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of machinery to ensure safety and functionality before use.
- Assist with site preparation, including setting up safety barriers, securing the work area, and coordinating with team members.
- Maintain daily records of equipment usage, safety checks, and project progress.
- Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment used in building demolition or construction sites.
- Ability to perform construction inspection tasks and adhere to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
- Valid certifications related to heavy equipment operation are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary licenses is expected.
