Industrial Journeyman Electrician Full Time NEW

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This full-time, permanent position requires expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-voltage systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in industrial settings.

– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

– Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

– Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including those related to high-voltage systems, motor controls, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

– Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems to minimize downtime.

– Collaborate with other maintenance staff and engineers to ensure efficient operation and resolution of electrical issues.

– Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

– Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant technical training is preferred.

– Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.

– Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.

– Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage systems, motor controls, and PLCs.

– Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

– Must pass a background check and drug test.

Work Schedule:

– 9/80 work schedule with a three-day weekend every other week.
