TMT Long Short Equity Analyst Full Time NEW

Overview:

We are partnering with a high-performing, fundamentally driven long/short equity hedge fund with a strong track record in technology and TMT investing. The team is looking to add a Junior Analyst to support idea generation and deep fundamental research across global tech sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to join a lean, intellectually rigorous team where analysts are given real responsibility early and exposure to the full investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive fundamental research on public equities within the Technology / TMT universe
• Build and maintain detailed financial models (3-statement, operating models, valuation)
• Generate long and short investment ideas with clear, differentiated insights
• Perform industry analysis, competitive positioning, and thematic research
• Monitor earnings, news flow, and key catalysts across coverage
• Collaborate closely with senior investors on portfolio construction and risk management

Requirements

• 2–4 years of buy-side/sell side experience (hedge fund or long-only); strong preference for TMT exposure
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
• Demonstrated interest in technology investing and public markets
• Ability to think independently and develop variant views
• Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
• Proven work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
