Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program – MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program – MedStar Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.

For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license.

Required Skills/Experience: – Laparoscopic and Robotic (DaVinci) experience required.

Unit Details: – Adult and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: – Monday-Friday; 4 shifts 0645-1515 and 1 shift per week 1045-1915. – Call required – 8hrs per week + 12 hrs of weekend call within 6 week schedule. – Holiday call required.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or the alternative certification TS-C

BLS (Basic Life Support)
