Role Description

The Vice President of Project Management Office (PMO) will oversee the establishment and execution of organizational project management strategies and initiatives. As a full-time leadership role based on-site in the Washington DC-Baltimore area, the VP of PMO will guide high-priority projects, ensure alignment with strategic goals, manage budgets, and mentor project teams. Responsibilities include overseeing program governance, developing effective project management frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, track key project metrics, and support decision-making processes
• Proven expertise in Program Management and Project Management to implement and oversee complex projects successfully
• Experience in Strategic Planning to align project initiatives with organizational goals and establish long-term objectives
• Demonstrated leadership managing Project Management Office (PMO) policies, procedures, and governance models
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Experience with change management and process improvement initiatives
• Relevant industry certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), are advantageous
• Master’s degree in business, project management, or a related field is preferred
