THE ROLE

Pirq is seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy Social Media Coordinator to bring our brand to life through compelling, scroll-stopping content on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This role will focus on short-form video creation and day-to-day execution across our channels, supporting the Social Media & Community Manager to drive growth and engagement.

The ideal candidate is passionate about content, confident on camera, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have a sharp eye for what performs, and the ability to turn ideas into polished, platform-native content quickly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation

• Brainstorm and execute short-form video content tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, and YouTube Shorts.
• Film, edit, and publish engaging videos using in-app tools, CapCut, or Adobe Suite. Editing fluency on TikTok and Instagram is a must.
• Stay on top of platform trends, sounds, memes, and formats. Bring fresh, on-brand ideas to the table and staying ahead of the curve.
• Appear on camera when needed and direct others (team, founder, UGC creators) to create authentic, high-performing content.

Daily Execution

• Assist in scheduling posts, writing captions, tagging, and adding music, text, and hashtags for each platform. All with the focus of increasing views, followers, and engagement.
• Maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic across platforms while experimenting with new ideas to drive engagement.
• Support day-to-day channel management and help bring the brand’s voice and energy to life online.

Collaboration & Campaign Support

• Work closely with the Social Media & Community Manager to align on content priorities, creative briefs, and weekly goals.
• Assist in identifying and coordinating with influencers and UGC creators to amplify brand reach.

Analytics & Optimization

• Track content performance across platforms and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
• Use insights to refine editing style, posting times, and creative direction.
• Contribute to content recap reports and share learnings regularly with the team.

IRL Content Capture

• Attend store visits, events, or team moments to capture behind-the-scenes content and real-world storytelling.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1–3 years of experience creating high-performing content for ecommerce, organic and paid social. Strong IG and TikTok experience required; Youtube + CTV a plus.
• Experienced in UGC production + best practices.
• Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, with a natural storytelling instinct.
• Strong video editing skills using mobile-first tools like CapCut, InShot, or native app editors.
• Well-versed in Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects).
• A self-starter who is resourceful, creative, and takes feedback well.
• Eager to learn about pirq’s products, brand story, and values with an ability to translate that into content that connects and grows our audience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness to work beyond standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet business demands. 

COMPENSATION

• $65,000-$85,000 base salary + bonus.
• The actual base salary will vary based on factors such as market conditions, minimum wage requirements, and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process. The salary range provided is a guideline and may be adjusted accordingly.
