Foreman (Journeyman OR Master Electrician) Full Time NEW

Location Requirement: This is a strictly local, on-site position. Candidates must reside within commuting distance. This is not a travel role, and no per diem or relocation/travel expenses will be provided.

We are seeking to add Foreman to our team in San Antonio, TX

Our ideal Foreman is highly skilled and experienced individual with in-depth knowledge. Someone who possess strong leadership management abilities to oversee teams of electricians, ensuring efficient project execution. We want a foreman who is technically proficient, holds the necessary licenses and certifications, and demonstrates problem solving abilities. Attention to detail, customer relations, continuous learning, physical stamina, ethical conduct, and professionalism.

Basic Requirements:

• Active TX TDLR journeyman electrical license OR master (Required)
• Active TX ID or DL (Required)
• Reliable Transportation
• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years documented field work in the commercial industry
• Proven work experience as an Electrical Foreman or a similar supervisory role.
• Experience: Able to manage 5 to 30 team members
• Size of Projects: $10,000K – $15M
• Travel: Willing to travel as needed
• Punctuality: Punctual, motivated and detail oriented
• Superior communication. Possess strong interpersonal skills to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
• Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required

• Estimate the general amount of time and material to complete service tasks, considering the needs and manpower requirements
• Able to work from all type ladders (step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders, and all size extension ladders and carry and relocate up to 12’ step ladders by oneself
• Able to perform work at various heights, up to 90’ from ladders. Scaffold, aerial lifts, cat walks or other safe work areas.
• Able to work in restricted areas (Switchgear room, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics)
• Always wear personal protective equipment (hard hat and safety glasses).
• Capability:
• Lift 51 pounds, 20 times per day
• Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers and constantly moving your feet
• Climb ladders (all types)
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of electricians and ensuring high-quality installations
• Ensuring all electrical work complies with the strictest safety standards and regulations
• Managing project schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets.
• Training and mentoring junior electricians and promoting continuous learning within the team.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Inspecting electrical work for quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshooting complex electrical problems effectively and efficiently.
• Staying updated with the latest electrical technologies and practices to enhance team capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and the National Electrical Code.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong leadership and project management skills to lead a team of electricians.
• Effective problem-solving abilities to address and resolve work-related issues.
• Additional certifications may be beneficial, such as OSHA safety training or specialized electrical system training.
