The Central Supply Tech supervises the sterilization/disinfection of patient care equipment in a wide variety of clinical settings.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare equipment and supplies appropriate to the age of the patient/client.
Accountable for departmental safety and risk management functions.
Use universal precautions appropriately and performs proper handwashing.
Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment in compliance with department policy, safety, disinfection, infection control and quality control standards.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of CS Competency Validations within 4 months of hire.
Pay Range
$16.00 – $22.86
Other Information
Shift Expectations: First Shift: 9 hours on as needed basis.
