About Us:
We are a family-owned and operated landscape construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality outdoor spaces with craftsmanship and care. We value versatility, integrity, and strong work ethic. We are currently seeking a skilled Landscape Installation Contractor (1099 Filing) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute landscape construction tasks as assigned
- Perform skilled labor including:
- Concrete and masonry work
- Paver and flagstone installation (mortar set experience a plus)
- Planting and landscape bed preparation
- Fence and deck installation
- Basic irrigation installation (bonus skill)
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Communicate project progress and needs to Foreman or Owner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Ensure high-quality workmanship with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in landscape construction or related trades
- Skilled in concrete, paver/flagstone install, fence and plant installation
- Ability to operate skid steers, excavators, and other heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of job site safety and efficiency
- Capable of working independently and problem-solving in the field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must provide proof of liability insurance (or obtain prior to start)
- Irrigation and skilled carpentry experience a bonus
Contract Details:
- Independent contractor (1099) role
- Competitive pay based on experience (hourly or per project)
- Flexible, project-based scheduling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
