Full Job Description
Christie Door Company is currently hiring Door Installation Technicians. The ideal candidates will have basic mechanical and carpentry skills, be self-motivated and take pride in providing quality work for customers. A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Standard work week is four, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday or 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday-Friday. This is a full time, hourly position with a full benefit package available. Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
Your primary duties include:
- Service and installation of residential and commercial doors and operating systems.
- Drive company owned trucks/equipment to job sites.
- Diagnose/problem shoot malfunctioning doors and operating systems.
- Use of hand and power tools on a daily basis.
- Adhere to company and job site safety standards/policies.
- Proper documentation of work order completion and submission of paperwork.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Valid driver’s license and must be insurable to drive company vehicle.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Work at heights up to 30 feet.
- Basic tool and measuring device experience.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work overtime when required.
- Professional attitude and ability to work with others.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work outside in all weather conditions
Preferred:
- Previous door installation or service experience
- Mechanical or carpentry experience
- Commercial Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
