We are seeking an associate to join our growing team located in New York. This role is ideal for individuals excited about the venture industry and looking to learn how to evaluate private late-stage growth technology investments while building long-term private investment expertise and network relationships in the venture capital ecosystem. This is an in-office position
Role Description
- Assisting in transaction execution including due diligence, research, financial and valuation analysis
- Identifying and tracking technology trends and market developments
- Developing investment theses and research presentations
- Supporting and expanding our investment pipeline
- Maintaining investment trackers for internal purposes and LP reporting
- Supporting quarterly and year end investment valuation process with fund administrator
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital roles
- Strong analytical, modeling, presentation, research, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of finance and investing with proven analytical, modeling skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AI tools
- Passion for investing and continuous learning
