Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience with light commercial/residential boiler installation, Tankless & Water Heater installation, piping, and controls.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational school, or apprenticeship completion a plus
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand complex wiring schematics, blue prints, and manufacturer manuals.
• Physical: Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces.

Core Responsibilities (What YOU Will Do)

• System Installation: Install new high-efficiency boilers, tankless & water heaters, pumps, zone valves, and radiant heating systems.
• Piping & Tubing: Perform brazing, soldering, and threading of copper, steel, and PEX piping to connect systems to fuel, water, and heat distribution networks.
• Controls Wiring: Lay out and connect electrical wiring for low and high-voltage controls, thermostats, and zone controllers.
• System Testing & Commissioning: Test pipe joints for leaks using pressure testing equipment, purge air from systems, and set up proper operating temperatures/pressures.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues during installation or retrofitting.
• Customer Education: Explain to customers how to operate their new, highly technical equipment.

Top Skills a Plus:

• Pipefitting Proficiency: Strong experience with hydronic specialty tools (threading machines, pressing tools, etc.).
• Understanding of Zoning: Ability to install multi-zone systems (manifolds, pumps, actuators).
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to piping layout and soldering to prevent leaks and ensure a professional, clean look.
• Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with HVAC building codes, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety standard

Transportation: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
