Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring that all orders are prepared, packaged, and loaded correctly to meet customer expectations. Duties

• Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, boxing, and documentation using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders accurately by utilizing order picking techniques and AS400 systems for inventory control
• Conduct stock replenishment activities including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels through warehouse distribution processes
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using basic math skills and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following safety protocols during load & unload procedures
• Assist in shipping & receiving tasks, including documentation of outbound shipments and tracking via RF scanners or warehouse management systems

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar ERP platforms
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers with valid certification preferred
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures within an e-commerce or retail setting is advantageous
• Basic math skills necessary for inventory counts, order calculations, and verifying shipment quantities
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices in order fulfillment processes
