About the Role

Join a passionate team and play a pivotal role as the Executive Assistant (EA) to our Executive Director. As EA, you will be a trusted partner, helping the Executive Director stay focused and effective by managing communications, scheduling, travel logistics, and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This hybrid position is based in Atlanta and offers flexibility, with occasional in-office duties and periodic travel (10–25%) to support conferences, speaking engagements, and key organizational events. You will be at the heart of our mission, contributing to initiatives that create lasting change for Black women and girls.

• Take ownership of the Executive Director’s calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination, maintain and organize their email inbox—including drafting thoughtful responses in the ED’s voice—and oversee travel logistics for conferences, speaking engagements, and events, ensuring all priorities are aligned and materials are prepared for impactful participation.
• Handle essential administrative tasks, including CRM management, digital file organization, and documentation, supporting the efficiency of the organization.
• Process and track expense reports, reimbursements, and documentation in accordance with BGS policies.
• Conduct research and support special projects that drive our mission forward.
• Prepare travel briefs and materials for engagements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to represent the Executive Director professionally and authentically.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
• Comfort navigating digital tools, CRM systems, and file management platforms.
• Willingness to travel periodically and adapt to dynamic schedules.
• Passion for mental health advocacy and commitment to the empowerment of young Black women and girls.
