Automotive Deal Finalizer Full Time NEW

The Automotive Deal Finalizer at Dennis & Co Auto Group is responsible for completing all necessary paperwork and closing the sale of new and used vehicles. This role ensures that all documentation is accurately prepared, explained to the customer, and signed off in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills to provide a seamless and positive experience for customers at the final stage of their purchase.

Responsibilities

• Finalize Vehicle Sales Transactions: Facilitate the final paperwork for vehicle purchases, ensuring all documents are accurately completed and signed by the customer.
• Ensure Compliance with State and Federal Laws: Verify that all documentation complies with dealership policies as well as state and federal laws related to automotive sales.
• Coordinate with Sales and Finance Teams: Work closely with the Sales and Finance departments to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to vehicle delivery, addressing any last-minute issues or documentation requirements.
• Ensure Accuracy of Payment Details: Verify and process customer payments, including cash, checks, and financing approvals, ensuring all financial aspects of the sale are properly documented and settled.
• Handle Post-Sale Documentation: Maintain and organize files related to vehicle sales for future reference and auditing purposes, ensuring all documentation is accessible and compliant with record-keeping policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous Automotive and CDK experience.
• Strong understanding of automotive sales documentation including financing agreements.
• Some Accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask with accuracy.
• Knowledge of local and federal laws regarding vehicle sales and registration preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Excel.
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information with absolute integrity required.
